Champ and Hannah

Hannah loves playing with her dog Champ. Champ is the most patient creature in the world. He allows Hannah to crawl on top of him, to crawl over him, to grab his ears and his tail, and he just lays there. We suspect he likes the extra attention, and he always gets a treat for being so sweet to his sister Hannah! :)

Daddy and Me

Hannah and Daddy love playing chase with each other. Hannah will take off crawling, and Daddy will yell..."I'm going to get you". Hannah will turn around and look at him and then take off crawling as fast as she can. When her Daddy finally catches her she laughs so hard. She loves spending special time with her Dad.

NJ

We spent the 3 days in New Jersy for Hannah's great-grandma's funeral. Although we were in town for a very sad reason, it was so good to spend time with family and friends. Hannah was spoiled rotten by her Nana and her Nanny Crowley.

She also got to hang out with the big girls....cousin Kelly, cousin Julie, and Auntie Erin!!

I can drink from a sippy cup!!

Today Hannah drank some juice out of a sippy cup. Daddy helped Hannah get it positioned and then she took over drinking her juice all by herself. She is getting to be such a big girl these days!!

Auntie Teri and Auntie Heather Visit!

Last night Hannah hung out with her Auntie Teri and her Auntie Heather (who she misses very much and wants to move back so that she can play with her more). They both got Hannah some beautiful presents...Heather got Hannah a growth chart to hang on her wall and Teri got her a Ralph Lauren outfit and 1st Christmas picture ornament.

Our Christmas Trip

This year we traveled on Christmas day to Aunt Libby's house. We later went to Mimi's. The next day we made a journey to MawMaw's house to spend time with her. Hannah got lots of wonderful gifts and loved all the attention she got from her family! We also got to spend time with her buddy Jackson, his parents, and Auntie April and Uncle Walt!! We did lots of traveling in our 4 days from home, but it was well worth it to spend time with the family.

Merry Christmas

This year was Hannah's first Christmas and look at all the wonderful toys Santa, Nana, and Pops brought to her!

No Mommy....I will not take a nap!

Today Jay and I put a very sleepy Hannah into her crib. We went back a few minutes later to check on her and this is what we found....

The Princess Dress

Nanny and PopPop Crowley bought Hannah a beautiful pink dress for Christmas. As soon as she put it on, she was being a ham for the camera. She wore it to church and got lots of compliments. Hannah loved all the attention she got!

Uncle Mike comes to visit!

Hannah got to spend some more time with Uncle Mike this evening. He came over to watch the UA basketball game with Daddy. Hannah and Uncle Mike spent some time hanging out on the couch and watching TV. Look how much she has changed in the last 5 months!

Christmas Angel

My dear friend from work, Hannah's Aunt Betty, bought her a beautiful Christmas dress. We decided to do a little fashion show for Daddy this afternoon in her new dress and new shoes! We got some great pictures!

Hannah's New Cap

Hannah's Gigi gave her this little hat to wear to future Alabama football games. Gigi even made a special elephant bow for the front to make it look more for a little girl. Thanks Gigi!!

Helping out Dad

Jay and I bought a desk as part of his birthday present, and he has been working on putting it together this week. Hannah was helping her Daddy last night by hitting the desk with her special hammer!

Learning to Crawl

Hannah has started to get up on all fours! She rocks back and forth and today she started to put one hand in front of the other. She still falls down, but she is working hard!

Playing in the Basket

Hannah discovered the laundry basket over the weekend. She kept trying to pull it close to her. Finally her Daddy decided to let her sit in the basket and play.

Happy Birthday Daddy!

Jay turned 27 on Thanksgiving day. Mommy and Hannah got him 2 presents to open at home and over the weekend we bought a new desk for Daddy to use when he works at home. Hannah enjoyed helping Daddy open the presents and tearing the paper. It was a little preview of what Christmas will be like :)

Daddy's Girl

Hannah woke up extra early one Sunday morning. I gave her the usually morning bottle and then we went back to the bedroom to check on Daddy. He was still fast asleep. I told Hannah to wake Daddy up while Mommy got a quick shower. When I got back out, I found them both fast asleep! So much for waking Daddy up!

Laundry Day

Sunday is usually laundry day at our house. On this particular Sunday, Hannah decided that she wanted to help Mommy with the clothes. She loved sitting in the giant pile and grabbing all of her favorite outfits. Daddy just had to snap a picture, and we are both hoping that this love of folding laundry doesn't wear off with age!

6 months old!!

Today Hannah is 6 months old. She went for her check up and weighed in at 17 lbs 2 oz. She has really grown in the past 6 months!! She also is 27 3/4 inches tall!! She had a big growth spurt since her last visit. She was not a happy girl when she had to get her shots, but she was brave and calmed down as soon as Mommy held her. Later that afternoon we took some pictures, and she decided to give her Daddy a kiss.

The Cutest Pumpkin

Hannah was a pumpkin this year for Halloween. She wore her costume all day at her school and then went to Abigail's house to trick or treat. By the end of the night, she and Champ were exhausted.
