Maternity Photo Shoot

Shaniqua came over this weekend and did a beautiful job taking pictures of our family! I have very few pictures of me during my pregnancy with Hannah, so it was a special treat to have her take some great shots of my growing belly. She always does such amazing work, and I am so lucky to have her as a friend!

The 2 Bears...

Hannah loves her dog Champ more than anything else! She loves to play with him, read to him, use her doctor kit on him, etc... This morning she even thought it was a good idea to go outside with him in her nightgown with no shoes or socks on in 35 degree weather! Later on, she decided that they needed to play dress up and they both had to be bears. You can tell how much Champ enjoys the dress up game. We are so blessed to have such a patient and loving dog that allows our daughter to torture him every day!

Ben's Room

We have finally finished Ben's room! We had new floors put down, bought a new rug, and changed everything from girl to boy :) Hannah has loved decorating her brother's room, and has lots of opinions on what we should buy for him. She even picked out a special "Lovey" to give to Ben when we bring him home, or as she says, "when he grows out"!

I like to move it....

We took Hannah to see her first movie at the movie theater, Madagascar 2. She loved it so much, she got the 1st movie for Christmas from Baboo. One of the songs in the movie is "I Like to Move It". Hannah is convinced that this is actually the name of the movie. We surprised her and downloaded the song, and the rest is video history....

Baby Ben

For Christmas this year,

one of my students gave me the gift of having a 3D ultrasound done. Baby Ben was not very cooperative. We tried and tried to get him to move, but he kept putting his arms, hands, and feet in front of his face. We ended up with 23 pictures, but these 2 are probably the best. The first one has his arms over his face and his mouth is open. We think he is going to look like his big sister, and probably be just as stubborn!

Christmas at Gigi's House

This morning Hannah got to open more presents at Gigi's house! She is a lucky girl to get so many gifts.

Yesterday we went to Aunt Lib's to celebrate Christmas. Hannah got lots of wonderful gifts and enjoyed spending time with the family!

Santa Came to Our House!

This morning Hannah was up at 7:30 ready to see what Santa brought for her. She rushed into the living room to see if Santa ate the cookies that she made yesterday. She asked for 3 things this Christmas: a guitar, a potty baby, and a computer. She was such a good girl that she got all 3 things!

Christmas Eve at Nana's

Last night we met Nana, Pops, and Uncle Mike at church. We had a yummy Christmas dinner and then opened presents. Santa even dropped off a few presents at Nana's house for Hannah to open!

Princess Champ

Last night Auntie Teri and Auntie Heather came over to exchange Christmas gifts. Auntie Teri gave Hannah a big sister shirt and some princess gear. This morning Hannah decided that Champ would make a great princess....

Who is that dinosaur?

Hannah and Mommy both have bronchitis! Hannah gets to use a special dinosaur mask to help her breathe better, and, so far, she has loved using it!

Baboo Comes to Visit

Last weekend Baboo, Grandma, and Auntie Erin came to visit. We had so much fun hanging out with everybody. Hannah loved having Baboo read to her and getting to look at fire trucks on Baboo's computer.

Happy Halloween

Hannah picked out her own costume this year! She decided to be Abby Cadabby from Sesame Street. Miss Gloria allowed the kids to wear their costumes this morning, but I brought Hannah a change of clothes knowing she wouldn't want to wear it all day long....much to my surprise this afternoon she was still wearing her costume. She and her friend Stevie wore their costumes all day long! Hannah was so excited to go trick-or-treating tonight, and was so excited that Champ was going to be a hotdog! We went to her buddy Harrison's house and we ran into Abigail on our way home. Daddy took her to several houses around our street, and she had a blast! She was so tired when she got finishedthat Daddy had to carry her home :)

Carving the Pumpkin

We carved our pumpkin last night. Hannah liked taking all the "yuckies" out of the pumpkin, and telling Mommy and Daddy how gross it was. Daddy got to carve the face!

The Annual Young-Mayfield Pumpkin Patch Trip

We visited the pumpkin patch with the Young family again this year. Hannah was excited to get a cat painted on her face, and ride the big tractor. We took a hayride to the pumpkin patch, and the kids all found some little pumpkins. Hannah told us that her's were shakers! We were able to get a big pumpkin to bring home!
